Intention to Borrow

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 6.20 (2) of the Local Government Act 1995 of the Shire of Kulin’s intention to exercise the power to borrow money.

At its Ordinary Meeting on 21 February 2024, Council resolved by absolute majority to borrow up to $1,000,000 to cover short term cash deficits related to projects funded by the Department of Infrastructures Remote Roads Upgrade Pilot Program and the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 4.  This short-term borrowing facility will be closed when the milestone payments for these projects are received.
