The Freebairn Recreation Centre membership offers more than just access to the modern sport and recreation facilities. Payment must be made directly to the Freebairn Recreation Centre. If you have any questions in regards to the memberships please don’t hesitate to phone (08) 9880 1000.
If you play sport for a Kulin club (Hockey, Netball, Golf, Football, Tennis, Bowls) you must be a member of the Freebairn Recreation Centre. The reason for this is individual clubs are no longer levied hire or maintenance fees. Also if you attend gym classes or use the gym you must be an adult member of the centre.
If you do not play sport for a Kulin club but enjoy drinking, eating and socialising at the Freebairn Recreation Centre you are required to be a social member of the Centre.
If your child is 13+ and doing Phys Ed at school, or playing sport for a Kulin club (Hockey, Netball, Football, Basketball, Tennis) they must be members of the Freebairn Recreation Centre. The cost is $20 to become a member for the year. This cost allows them the use of the great facilities which are provided at the centre.

Freebairn Recreation Centre Employment Opportunity
The Freebairn Recreation Centre is seeking capable and enthusiastic staff to undertake the following positions associated with running the bar and function components of the FRC. These include:
Primary duties include hospitality responsibilities, bar service, as well as cleaning and maintenance of the bar facilities in the centre’s function areas. Hours for each position are negotiable with an ongoing requirement for at least 30 hours per week across an individual role with another 30-50 hours across casual roles dependent upon facility bookings.
Applicants must possess RSA certification and ideally have experience within the hospitality industry. On the job training will be provided.
This is a multi-faceted role and we are seeking applicants who have the desire to become involved and be a key-player in the operations of the FRC. Weekend work will form a significant component of the role.
The position is available on an ongoing basis with a starting date to be negotiated.
