Events and Activities in Kulin Town

In the days leading up to the Kulin Bush Races event and over the race weekend, visitors can enjoy a range of activities in the townsite of Kulin.

Kulin Gallery and Studio

Situated across from the Kulin Hotel and Post Office, the old Railway Station is home to the Kulin Gallery and Studio. Browse or purchase one of local Kulin artist, Carol Griffin's beautiful artworks. Many of Carol's work is inspired by Kulin’s landscapes, heritage buildings, horses and the famous Kulin Bush Races.

Quilts and Craft Exhibition - Kulin Memorial Hall

Enjoy a display of quilts by local quilters, crafts for sale, patchwork and quilting demonstrations.

Open: Thursday 1 & Friday 3 October: 9am-4.30pm

Saturday 9.00 am - 2.00 pm. Sunday 9am - 11am

$5.00 entry fee includes Morning/afternoon teas with all proceeds to the RFDS.

Kulin Museum (Butlers Garage)

Built in the mid 1920s, Butlers Garage operated in Kulin until 1994. Today it has been restored and houses the Kulin Museum. The museum contains an impressive collection of vintage cars, farm equipment and machinery.

Open: Thursday - 11am - 3pm.

Friday & Saturday - 9am—4pm

Sunday - 9am-12pm

Guided Wildflower Trail Walks

Join Kulin's Herbarium Group for a lovely spring walk with local wildflower insights and expertise. 

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10.30 am
